بسم اللّه الرّحمن الرّحيم

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

"Now the woman in whose house he was solicited him, and closed the doors on them. 'Come,' she said, 'take me!' 'God be my refuge,' he said. 'Surely my lord has given me a goodly lodging. Surely the evildoers do not prosper.'" (Q. 12: 23 trans. Arberry).

[4]  God did indeed send down the expositions (al-bayinat) in this Book, in very Truth, perchance the people may not be, as ill befits the Truth, hard of heart (majmud an) regarding Our verses. [5] We did indeed send down the Book (al-kitab) unto thee [the Bab] in conformity with the Book [the Qur'an] (`ala tibqa al-kitab)...
