An Early Tablet of the Bab to `Ali Muhammad Khurasani, Mulla Ṣādiq Khurasani, Ism Allah al-Asdaq
(The Name of God,, the Most Sincere-Truthful)
The Shaykhī, Bābī and Baha’i `Ali Muhammad, Mullā Ṣādiq Muqaddas-i Khurāsānī (d.1306/1889) was entitled Ism-Allāh al-Aṣdaq by the Bāb. He was posthumously referred to as one of the Ayādī-i Amr-Allāh (“Hands of the Cause of God”) by ʿAbd-al-Bahāʾ in 1919, The Tablet translated below was printed in Vahid Rafati ed. Pik-i Rastan... athar-i mubaraka ... Jinab-i Ism Allah al-Aṣdaq va aghsan-i khandan-i ishan. Germany: Mu'assah-yi `Asr-i Jadid. 162 BE / 1384 Sh./2005 CE.

[From] The Remembrance (dhikr) of the Remembrance of God (dhikr-Allah) unto the Yellow Leaf [Dove] (warqat al-sufra') at the right-hand side of the [Sinaitic] Mount (al-tur). No God is there except Him. Say: I am He who emergeth! And We, verily, sent down for thee aforetime, a letter [book] (kitab an) in which were verses of clarification (ayat bayyinat) which came from Us for the people capable of hearing. And We have heard that today, thou, after thy residence in this region, thou had followed the inclinations (hawa') of such as knew not the decree of the Remnant of God (baqiyyat Allah) on the part of His servant `Ali [the Bab], the Wise One (hakim) . And, furthermore, that thou did not follow the decree of God, straightforwardly, out of fear (khawf). for the people were silent about the verses of God (ayat Allah). So recite Our verses every day amongst the people outside of a circumstance determined by fear (al-khawf)
