 Sayyid  Ḥusayn Yazdī (d. 1852 CE).

[A]

This is that which We sent down unto the Seventh of those who believe (al-saba` man amana) in God and in His verses. Bear Witness that He is indeed the Mighty (al-`azīz), the Beloved One (al-maḥbūb).

In the Name of God,

the Supremely Powerful (al-aqdar), the Most-Mighty (al-a`zaz), the Mighty (al-`azīz).

Ā ī ū ā Ā Ī Ū ḍ Ḍ ḥ Ḥ ṣ Ṣ  ṭ Ṭ ẓ Ẓ

[I]

[1] Glorified be He Who sendeth  down whatsoever He willeth by virtue of the [Qur'anic creative imperative] Logos-Command (amr).  كُنْ فَيَكُونُ "Be!" and it is! [Q.2:117; 3:47, 59, etc] [2] He is the One in Whose hand is whatsoever is within the heavens and on the earth and all shall indeed come to return unto Him. [3] His is the Dominion (al-mulk) of the heavens and of the earth both from times past and for times to come (min qabl wa min ba`da). [4] Say: All by means of His Logos-Command (amr) do come to action.

[II]

[1] This is a missive [letter, book] (kitāb) from before [the letter] al-thā' [=Thamara, the Fruit, the Bab] unto the Seventh to believe (sāba` man āmana) in God and in His verses/ [2] So bear witness that He is indeed the Mighty One (al-`azīz), the Beloved One (al-mahbūb). [3] He is the One Who created thee and provided for thee. [4] No God is there except Him. the Powerful (al-muqtadar). the One Ascetic [Monastic, Devout] (al-marhūb).

[III]

[1] Say: He is the Powerful (al-qahir) beyond everything (kull shay') and He is the Wrathful (al-qahhar), the  Vengeful   (al-muqatahir), the Avenged (al-qayhūr) [sic.] [2] His is the Dominion of the Theophanic Cloud (mulk al-`amā') and the Divine Throne (al-`arsh) and whatsoever is other than these twain. [3] [including] the Elevated Pedestal [Chair] (al-kursi al-marfū`)  [4] He is God, no God is there excpt Him, the One who knoweth both the Unseen and the Seen (`allām al-ghayb wa'l-shahāda), the One of Tremendous Power  (al-mutakabbir), the Powerful (al-kabīr), the  Empowered (al-kaybūr) [sic.]. [5] Wherefore is God, the Lord of the heavens and of the earth and whatsoever lieth between these twain. [2] No God is there except Him.

[IV]

[1] Say: All before Him are [messianic] Dhikr-related / ones remembered (al-dhākirūn) and Thou indeed art the Dhikr (Remembrance) of Thy Lord. [2] Whatsoever thou dost will is assuredly a Command (amr an) which cometh from before Him/ [3] No God is there except Him, the Mighty One (al-`azīz), the Grief-Stricken [Passionate]  (al-aylūh > y-l-h ?). .[4] His is the Command (amr) of the heavens and of the earth and whatsoever lieth betwixt these twain, the  Supremely Pure (al-anzah), the  Purified [Unblemished, Blameless] (nayzūh > n-z-h).

[1] Say: He is One Victorious (al-ghālib) by means of His Logos-Command (amr) both in times past and in times to come (min qabl and min ba`da). [2] He is assuredly the Kingly Ruler (al-malīk), the Fate-Generating (al-qaydūr) [sic]. [3] God testifieth that He, no God is there except Him! [4] He bringeth to Life and He causeth to die for He is indeed the Living One (al-hayy) Who dieth not!

[VI]

[1] In His grasp is the Dominion (al-mulk) of the heavens and of the earth. [2] He createth whatsoever He willeth through His Logos-Command (amr) [the Qur'anic creative imperative]   كُنْ فَيَكُونُ "Be!" and it is!  [see I:1 above].

[3] Say in His Hand is the Malakūt (Kingdom) of the Lāhūt (Divine Realm) of "All things" (malakūt lāhūt kull shay') for all do indeed return unto Him (raji`ūn). [4] He is God, no God is there except Him from times past and for times to come (min qabl wa min ba`da). [5] No God is there except Him, the Help in Peril (al-muhaymin), the Self-Subsisting (al-qayyūm)! [6] Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and upon the earth. [7] No God is there except Him from times past and for times to come (min qabl wa min ba`da). [6] No God is there except Him, the Pre-Eternal (al-azal), the Pre-Eternaled (al-ayzūl).

[VII]

[1] Before Him do render  glorification (subbuh) whomsoever is within the heavens and upon the earth for all before Him do offer service (`ābidūn)!

[2] Say: From Him cometh about the Power  (qādir) for raising Thee up (ba`itha)!

[3] Say: Glorified be He for He is God!

[4] All do return back towards Him.

[VIII]

[1] Say: Blessed be (tabāraka) He Who is Upstanding (qā'im) with respect to His Logos-Command (amr) for He rewardeth whomsoever He willeth relative to His Decree (hukm). [2] No God is there except Him, the KIng (al-malik), the One of Talismanic [Magical] Potency (al-baddūḥ = 2-4-6-8).

[IX]

[1] Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and upon the earth and whatsoever is other than these twain. [2] No God is there except Him, the Mighty (al-`azīz), the Inended One (al-maqsūd). [3] Wherefore is God the Supporter [Upholder] (qarar)  of the heavens and of the earth from times past and for times to come (min qabl wa min ba`da).  [4] No God is there except Him. the All-Knowing (al-ayylim) [sic.], the Well-Inforned (al-aylūm) [sic]!

[1] Say: In His Hand is the Malakūt (Kingdom) of the Lāhūt (Divine Realm) of "All things" (malakūt lahūt kull shay') for all are prostrate before Him (sājidūn)! [2] There is nothing that cometh from God except Him (nā min ilah illā huwa)! [3] This prior to the One for Whom there was no before, up until the after for the One Whom there was no afterwards. [4] And all before Him are devoutly obedient (qānitūn).
